This body of work explores the human condition beneath the crushing weight of late Capitalism. Our introspective dealings with modern living can bubble to the surface in the forms of emotional isolation, frustration, inflated self-importance, anxiety, numbness, boredom, and violence. Some of us fair better than others in today’s hyper-speed far from natural life experience.
This piece is about simply living with that burden, pretending it’s not a bother. Maybe I should put the couch in front of it, or move the spider plant to block this 65lbs of Irritation.
