While building this piece, I imagined a basement-tinkering silent-sufferer of the hand life dealt. Straightforward, sturdy construction with chilling design implies its maker’s violent intent. Machete-Vac’s razor sharp blades, night scope, and plunging handle might be haphazardly gathered, but they’re carefully assembled. Possibly the most disturbing detail of the piece is the side-mount microphone and mp3 player (not shown) that record the action for reminiscence.
